Bioderm Fever Blister Cream – 15 g
Bioderm Fever Blister Cream – 15 g – I would like to introduce you to Bioderm®, a product based on a natural active ingredient called Stannous Fluoride. Bioderm® is a new formulation which can be used for Herpes conditions and is applied as a topical cream. Stannous Fluoride has been used for almost 50 years in dental care and has no known side effects or contraindications. As a result of 10 years of R&D in the US and UK, this product has been developed and has proven to have antiviral properties, and can be used for the 3 Herpes conditions:
- Herpes Simplex I – lip sores, fever blisters
- Herpes Simplex II – genital herpes
- Herpes Zoster – Shingles
- Varicella (chicken pox)
It is the Stannous (tin) component of Bioderm® that appears to deliver the greatest benefit, through the positive tin ions binding to the virus membrane, preventing the ability of the virus to infect the tissue.
Bioderm® has been developed and packaged to assist doctors who are experiencing a growing occurrence of these conditions, especially in communities that have many HIV/AIDS sufferers. Bioderm® is an effective and affordable product, packaged especially for dispensing doctors.
Bioderm® is packaged in a 15g tube, for doctors to directly dispense to patients.
Dosing Guidelines
- For lip/mouth conditions, genital lesions and mild shingles – 15g
- For more severe shingles – 15g and 30g
Patients should apply the cream 3 to 4 times per day, preferably with a gauze or swab, and continue to use until after the condition has improved, normally within 3 days.
BIODERM® PRODUCT AND PHARMACOLOGICAL DESCRIPTION
Bioderm® is a unique blend of Stannous Flouride and moisturizing creams prepared for topical application to the skin.
The product has been specifically formulated to treat dermatological problems prevalent in Africa, which have been caused as a result of either:
Infection: Post Op/Treatment, Insect, reptile, animal bites etc.
Injury: Burns, Wounds
Disease: Herpes, shingles, Chickenpox etc.
Immuno Compromisation: Karposis Sarcoma, tumour etc.
The highly efficient anti-bacterial and anti viral properties of the actives within the formulation have been well documented over a period of many years of clinical use. Bioderm® combines this activity in a single solution.
Bioderm® heals in two ways:
- By being absorbed directly into the blood stream through topical application.
- By eliminating exposed pathogens on the surface of the skin
Bioderm® contains no alcohol, lidocaine or benzocaine compounds which can lead to allergic reactions and slowing down of the healing process.
Tests have confirmed the active ingredient in the Bioderm® formulation is an ideal treatment for any herpes outbreak and common complaints linked to herpes, e.g; Shingles, Chickenpox, etc. Bioderm® has the proven ability to penetrate into the cell membranes and inactivate the herpes virus within the DNA without any changes to the DNA and without any side effects. It also has a double action of being able to kill the live exposed virus on the surface of the skin which reduces the ability of the virus to replicate and retreat into the body for future outbreaks. Regular applications of Bioderm® enable virus levels to be lowered allowing the body’s natural defences to take over.
Bioderm® has broad spectrum antibacterial, anti viral and anti fungal activity:
Anti bacterial & Anti fungal:
Bactericidal against Pseudomonas a, citrobacter, enterobacter, strep & strep sangius, strep mutans, staph, e coli and candida. Inhibits the growth of bacillus and subtilis & mycobacterium.
Antiviral:
Direct anti viral activity by inhibiting glycosylation of viral glycoproteins and generally inhibiting replication.
Immune compromisation:
Possible activity against sarcomas and spontaneous tumours.
Wound healing:
Stimulates fibroblast and tissue formation. Fibroblasts are key cells that assist in the production of collagen protein responsible for skin elasticity. Promotes healing, wound repair, stimulates rapid epidermal growth.
Bioderm® has remarkable anti viral properties. This anti viral action could even extend to the transformation of the protein envelope of the HIV virus which will prevent it from attaching to cells. More clinical trials are necessary to confirm this.
